What helps me run / Running away from the CAT / This sounds.....
1. What helps me run? SALT
When I was younger, I would regularly hear the phrase “replace those electrolytes,” or something along those lines, whenever I was in sports or did a workout. For whatever reason, I never actually looked into what those “electrolyte things” are and why they are important. Now, with working up to this half marathon I am realizing how impactful they can be as I wanted to find some things I could implement into my diet to improve my performance. In doing so, I have found that using salt (I add it to my water in the morning and throughout the day) has been a GAME CHANGER. I feel better during running and working out, use the bathroom less, and it helps with hunger for my intermittent fasting. I’ll take that any day.
Here is the video I found useful for sodium intake.
2. Running away from the CAT.
In the past, I have usually focused on the reward (running towards something) when creating a goal. It hasn’t been until recent that I have thought to really start using pain (running away from something) to help me to take action on my goals. I’ve heard Tom Bilyeu, Alex Hormozi, and others talk about using pain in an effective way and the way I think about it is a football player probably runs his fastest when a defender is right behind him (CAT), going towards the end zone (REWARD). Using both the “CAT” (running away) and the “REWARD” (running towards) can help the player reach his top speed. With that in mind, I think focusing 80% on the beautiful things and 20% in the dark is a great approach as Tom Bilyeu explains in the clip below. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/c5Yss9e1QmI
3. This sounds…..
I am truly taken back on how good this is. The wild part is……..it’s not real. It’s not “real” is probably a better way to think about it. How is this A.I.? How is this not actually Jay-Z on this song. If someone would have played this song at a party, I don’t think I would have had any clue that this was A.I. “performing” this track. If there was a music Turing Test, this would have passed. No doubt.
