- Go Get That Knowledge -

Hello all! Welcome to “Go Get That Knowledge.”

If you are curious to know why I named it as such, the phrase is one that hits close to home. My grandpa used to say it to my dad and uncles growing up and it has become a staple idea / principle that I have incorporated into my life. It has served me greatly and I hope you find value in it as well.

That being said, I will be sharing some of my top learnings I find on a weekly basis here on this blog! Right now I am very focused on learning about health, personal development, and business / technology and for right now, that is what I plan to write about.

Here are 5 things I recently found interesting / useful!

  1. OVERHEAD PRESS (SHOULDERS)

/

For those interested in increasing their overhead press strength, this is a must watch (YouTube video link above). Simple. Great information. My favorite part/s: “breathing and bracing” 7:09 - 10:17. Brian explains that if you breath during lockout with higher volume sets, you’ll be able to get much more reps. I definitely will be incorporating this into my training.

2. All you need is a heavy object for a great workout

Lift it up and carry it. You can use a dumbbell, kettlebell, 45 lb. plate, you name it. If you are looking to switch it up in your workouts, try walking with a heavy object. I personally use a kettlebell and walk up to 100 yards at a time. And when I say walk with it, there are multiple variations. Hold it in one hand, goblet squat walk, etc. If you don’t have a kettlebell, you can still get creative with whatever you have. P.S. It can be a supreme mental test just as much as a physical test. Have fun.

3. A.I. / Spotify

Here. We. Go. A.I. is here and Spotify now has one of the best use cases I have seen thus far. “DJ X” can interact with you and now play music for your workouts, parties, study sessions, or whatever. And it’s only in the beta version. Go try it out if you have Spotify. And if you don’t, go get it. I think it's the best music platform, hands down.

4. Being successful

This is a very insightful read. Sam Altman is very intelligent and this blogpost is clear and concise. There are lots of great ideas that I think can be applied to many different paths.

5. Using Visualization

Visualization is something that I will be incorporating into my daily routine. If you haven’t heard of Andy, I recommend you go listen to his podcast as soon as possible. He has some incredible content out there for anyone trying to better themselves.
